if you remember mc only fought with the servants before he fought this dude the head of family came in and stopped
mc literally states that he cannot fight this dude

Well iirc he only stabs at him and then it looks like they are about to swing at each other and it gets stopped. I do think he also said he would have to use a high level skill (one they probably don't have on that cont) to beat him. (IE heaven vs yellow)
so, this guy who is at the "peak of earth cultivation" was the same guy that MC went blow for blow after he revived...? makes perfect sense...
